It will look at some of the challenges with identity categories on race and ethnicity, as well as using the category of Jewish/Jewishness to explore the complexities of such categories, whilst using diversity monitoring forms or highlighting key awareness dates.

Webinar & Interactive Workshop

There are many instances when you would need to learn to think about how you would facilitate a difficult dialogue, which range from engaging in a sensitive topic with someone or a group, to talking about a subject or something outside of your identity or from engaging in a disagreement a colleague, a line manager or even worse, a customer or client. How you do this, either effectively or non-effectively is paramount to building healthy relationships in your teams and fostering positive self-well-being.

Bystander Training
Webinar & Interactive Workshop
Thursday 30th October
Time: 11:00 – 12:30
When people think of bystander training within the workplace, it’s typically within the context of bullying and harassment. Within the context of harassment, which spans a broad range of discriminatory practices, such as racial, ableist, religious, and class discrimination for instance, there is a large emphasis on sexual harassment. How do you become an active bystander and step into challenge unwanted or inappropriate behaviours of a sexual/sexist nature?
This session will look at what it means to be a bystander in challenging situations and give you the tools and the confidence to challenge, call out, and report inappropriate behaviours in the workplace.
